URDEMALES: premieres ‘Selk Machina’!

PRESS COMUNICATION

Urdemales premieres ‘Selk Machina’

The story of a giant robot

The Chilean power metal band, Urdemales, presents us with the lyric video for ‘Selk Machina’, their debut single that tells the story of an automaton robot in the shape of a Selknam God, a chilean native people personalized in a gigantic “gundam” that was created with the best of what’s left in a post apocalyptic world.

The art and video clip of ‘Selk Machina’ was made by D-Buster, guitarist of the band who participated in the composition and lyrics of this song, in which Urdemales wants to show a different shape to what is established when it comes to playing power metal, where the song’s topics are oftenly reduced to the medieval epic or fantasy kingdoms.

“We feel that ‘Selk Machina’ is an excellent introduction for what you will find on the rest of the álbum: narrations where we let our imagination fly to create all kinds of stories without any limit. This is a record made by fans of power metal, for other fans of the genre around the world,” the band states.

‘Selk Machina’ is the first preview of the upcoming self-titled album by Urdemales, a group that is made up of Francisco Pardo on guitar and second voice, D-Buster on guitar, Fernat Molinet on drums, Antonio Valenzuela on keyboard and Diego Godoy in the voice.
